Details:
The Mount to Coast H1 is a running shoe designed for road-to-trail and gravel running, emphasizing durability, performance, and sustainability. It weighs around 8.5 oz (US M9) with a 6mm drop and 2mm lug depth.

The shoe features several key technologies:

  • CircleCELL™: This is a high-performance midsole material made from 100% renewable feedstock, including recycled organic waste. It offers PEBA-level energy return but with almost double the running lifespan. The manufacturing process for CircleCELL is certified by REDcert² and ISCC PLUS, and can convert up to 20 pounds of organic waste per pair of midsoles.

  • Upper: The H1 has a dual-zone upper with jacquard for adaptive fit and comfort on top, and durable high-performance woven fabric reinforced with Kevlar aramid fibers on the bottom for exceptional durability.

  • VersaGrip: This proprietary outsole technology provides exceptional traction, grip, and durability across all terrains.

  • TUNEDFIT™ Dual Lacing System: This system allows for separately customizable fit for the forefoot and midfoot.

Mount to Coast aims to overcome the dilemma of choosing between durability, performance, and sustainability, believing that sustainability should meet or exceed the performance and durability of traditional materials. Ultrarunner Jamil Coury logged over 600 miles in a single pair of Mount to Coast H1s with CircleCELL technology during a competition, highlighting the material's durability.
